Proef Marseille in Amsterdam: een unieke pop-up van l’Ambassadeur

Op zaterdag 16 augustus neemt l’Ambassadeur je mee op een culinaire reis van Marseille naar Amsterdam. Een eenmalige pop-up waar twee Franse chefs hun liefde voor eten, rituelen en ritme met je delen. Laat je verrassen door gerechten die verhalen vertellen, in een intieme en muzikale setting. Boek nu jouw plek voor lunch of diner, de pop-up vindt plaats van 13:00 tot 21:00 uur. Trouwens; op vertoon van je stadspas krijg je 50% korting op al het eten en drinken!

Ontmoet de chefs van l’Ambassadeur

De mannen achter l’Ambassadeur zijn niet zomaar koks, het zijn verhalenvertellers en smaakmakers. Hun roots liggen in onder andere Brazzaville, Hong Kong en Marseille, en dat proef je terug. Met open armen en goede muziek op de achtergrond word je met liefde ontvangen. We willen graag een gezamenlijke ervaring aanbieden, daarom zullen het shared dining gerechten (die je natuurlijk ook gerust in je eentje mag opeten) zijn!

Over de pop-up en het eten

Voor deze editie nemen de chefs hun gerechten mee naar Amsterdam, met een menu vol sharing plates. We bieden in totaal zes gerechten aan. Twee salades (€8 en €12), gegrilde kip met Japanse saus en sesam (€16), gember ratatouille (€11), white broken rice bowl (€5) en vanille-ijs met ananas en munt (€5). Ga er van uit dat je met z’n tweeën genoeg hebt aan ongeveer drie gerechten om lekker te delen. Of meer, als je grote trek hebt!

We bieden het gehele menu vanaf 13:00 21:00 aan. Daarbij is het goed om te weten dat op = op! Uit ervaring weten we dat er genoeg hardlopers zullen zijn, dus wees er op tijd bij anders grijp je waarschijnlijk mis! Je bent welkom om aan te schuiven, eten af te halen en misschien zelfs een dansje te wagen.

Meet the Chefs of l’Ambassadeur

The men behind l’Ambassadeur are not just chefs — they’re storytellers and flavor creators. Their roots trace back to Brazzaville, Hong Kong, and Marseille — and you can taste that in their food. With open arms and great music in the background, you’ll be welcomed with love. The experience is all about sharing, so expect shared dining dishes (though of course, you’re welcome to enjoy them solo too!).

About the Pop-Up and the Food

For this edition, the chefs are bringing their dishes to Amsterdam, offering a menu full of sharing plates. There will be six dishes in total: two salads (€8 and €12), grilled chicken with tare sauce and sesame (€16), ginger ratatouille (€11), white broken rice bowl (€5) and vanilla ice cream with diced pineapple and mint (€5). As a general guide, a table of two will be satisfied with about three dishes to share — or more, if you’re hungry!

The full menu is available from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Please note: when it’s gone, it’s gone! Based on previous events, we know some dishes will sell out fast. So come early or risk missing out. You’re welcome to dine in, grab takeaway, and maybe even dance a little while you’re at it.
